MeniSilkTM

MeniSilkTM technology that is an innovative contact lens material polymerization method that provides silkily smooth material, that is the basis of the Diviniti contact lens structure. This contact lens manufacturing process ensures:
  • excellent uniformity and transparent material for reliable optical quality,
  • excellent breathing (very high Dk/t),
  • hydrophilic or high in moisture and ability to maintain the moisture levels also during the whole time of contact lens wear.

NanoGlossTM

Diviniti contact lens surface is coated with the special NanoGlossTM unique surface treatment technology. It is developed with a nanometer precision. Contact lens surface in particular is the place where lens touches the most sensitive parts of our eye – the corneal cells and the mucous membrane of the eyelid that is in constant motion. Uniform and smooth contact is very important to reduce any irritation and ensure the safety of contact lens usage. This technology ensures:
  • the most smooth contact lens surface so the lens doesn’t snag and to avoid any friction, even in spite of the regular blinking (approximately 15 times per minute),
  • bacterial resistance, the nanometer precision smooth surface is too slippery for microorganisms to attach themselves to the surface of the lens,
  • the lack of any pores or uneven surfaces reduces deposits of any dirt that can accumulate on the lens surface providing lasting cleanliness allowing to maintain a clear view from early morning to night from the first days of wear until the end of the month,
  • the thin natural tear film of a human eye can easily slide over the contact lens surface ensuring lasting wettability and comfort.

Oxygen permeability 

Dk/t indicator shows the contact lens material oxygen permeability Dk and the thickness parameter t. Diviniti contact lenses are manufactured to be very thin and from a very breathable material ensuring high Dk/t, that ensures very high oxygen permeability. Diviniti contact lenses help to maintain healthy eyes while using the contact lenses from early morning until late at night. The thin lens allows undisturbed gas exchange through the material. The oxygen permeability of Diviniti contact lenses is one of the highest in the market of all commercially available contact lenses that is possible thanks to the MenisilkTM technology. Eyes that receive enough oxygen are more healthy, whiter, and allow their wearers not to worry about the safety of their contact lenses. Diviniti lenses are safe for daily wear up to 16 hours per day. Using contact lenses for longer amounts of time the workload conditions need to be taken into account, for example the tiredness of the whole body or the need to balance between intensive work and relaxation.

Advantages of a unique design

Diviniti spherical contact lenses have 2 different base curves that allow to find the best contact lens fit for each eye. In comparison most other contact lens manufacturers mostly offer just one universal base curve, without options to modify the way the lens fits the eye. Also Diviniti lenses are proud of the small diameter of the contact lens, which is in particular significant as a smaller area of the eye is covered, that ensures better tear exchange and the contact lens – eye dynamic system is directed towards prolonged and healthier contact lens usage.

Significance of the lens thickness

The thickness of the contact lens can significantly impact the availability of oxygen to the eye. Diviniti monthly disposable lens design ensures the maximum oxygen permeability over the whole lens surface, over all optical powers and lens designs: spherical, multifocal and toric lenses.  Traditionally lenses with smaller optical power are also thinner and contact lenses with higher optical power are thicker, so the eye receives less oxygen. Especially deliberating over the lens design and redeveloping lens thickness profile, the manufacturer of Diviniti contact lenses has optimized contact lens thickness and developed unique design even for very complicated optical powers, so the whole eye can breathe freely. The Dk/t of a contact lens only shows the full parameter at -3.00D in the center of the lens. Protection against deposits

Contact lens swims in the tear film of the eye, it is in contact with bodily secretions and various chemical compounds, many particles travelling through the air get into eyes, as well as substances and microorganisms from our hands can be transferred to the contact lens. NanoglossTM precision providing an especially smooth surface prohibits the accumulation of lipid deposits on the contact lens surface, as well as reduces the possibility of bacterial biofilm adhesion. In scientific research it has been tested that Diviniti contact lenses that were immersed into a solution with bacteria were capable of retaining better surface cleanliness that many other commercially available contact lenses, and bacteria were not adhering to the lens surface. On the Diviniti contact lens smooth surface doesn’t allow adhesion of proteins and lipids. During a daily wear on Diviniti contact lenses only a minimal amount of deposits can be found. Design of the contact lens edge

Contact lens edge shape is critically important for comfortable wear. Our eyelids blink up to 28 thousand times a day, this movement is natural and automatic and happens unknowingly. There is a risk that when a lens is inserted into the eye, during a blink, an eyelid can snag on the contact lens edge, this issue hinders blinking and reminds of the medical device on the eye surface. Diviniti contact lens special edge profile provides excellent long lasting comfort regardless of the optical power. Both for smaller and larger optical powers the edge of the lens is the same thickness. The edge is especially thin and slim, comfortably laying against the ocular surface, this allows the wearer to blink freely and even to forget that there’s a lens inserted into the eye.
