It is important for both daily disposable and monthly disposable contact lens wearers to take care of both their eyes and contact lenses.
Before touching contact lenses, it is necessary to wash hands thoroughly with soap and dry them in a towel that won’t leave any fluff on the fingers.
Before contact lenses are inserted into eyes it is important to make sure that contact lens packaging is not damaged and parameters on the blister match the prescription. Visually evaluate if contact lens is not damaged. A damaged lens mustn’t be inserted into eye!
Daily disposable contact lenses (Diviniti Comfort DAY)
These contact lenses have a special smart touch system ensuring lens can be inserted into eye faster and more hygienically, compared to traditional contact lens packaging blisters.
To remove contact lens from blister, it is gently squeezed between a thumb and pointer finger, using the jut of the container as a support. The lens will immediately be facing upright and can be inserted into the eye immediately.
The special packaging ensures that fingers never touch the inner surface of the lens – lens is cleaner and eye has a reduced risk of infection.
The breathable silicone hydrogel lenses can be worn on a daily basis, with excellent comfort up to 16h.
For daily disposable contact lens care the most important feature is washing hands thoroughly before touching eyes and lenses: both before inserting the lens and removing the lens from the eye. For the contact lens we don’t have to worry about at all – after removing them from the eye, contact lenses are simply disposed of!
Daily disposable lenses are not fit for repeat use, they can’t touch contact lens or disinfecting solutions.
For improved comfort, daily disposable contact lenses and eyes can be wetted with artificial tears. Before their use make sure they are compatible with use on contact lenses!
Monthly disposable contact lenses (Diviniti OxyPro 161)
Contact lens care starts with thorough hand washing with soap and drying them completely dry.
Clean, disinfected contact lens can be taken out of the container and and placed into eye facing correctly. The used contact lens solution is must be discarded from the container, container and it’s lids rinsed with fresh solution. Clean container and lids are dried upside down on a clean paper towel during the day.
These breathable silicone hydrogel monthly disposable lenses can be worn daily for up to a month retaining excellent comfort for up to 16h.
Hands must be washed and dried also before the removal of the lenses.
After removing the contact lens from the eye it has to be mechanically cleaned: contact lens is placed into the palm and sufficient amount of contact lens solution added, then rubbed with the finger pad for 15-20 seconds on both sides.
Contact lens has to be rinsed off after the mechanical cleaning with fresh contact lens solution and inserted into container that is filled with clean solution up to the marking.
Contact lens solution can to be used up to the expiry date, following the directions from the manufacturer. After opening a fresh bottle of contact lens solution it has to be discarded after 90 days, unused solution poured out regardless of the remaining quantity.
It is forbidden to mix various contact lens solutions together!
It is necessary to always use a new container with every new bottle of contact lens solution!
