Diviniti Ocean Moist

Diviniti Ocean Moist is a multifunctional disinfecting contact lens solution for sensitive eyes. It’s uniquely effective disinfecting system protects against bacteria, fungus and prokaryotes. The contents are specially balanced to regulate disinfectant aggressiveness towards the eye tissue, it is specifically designed to be compatible with taking care of the modern silicone hydrogel contact lenses. Diviniti Ocean Moist has additives that ensures long lasting eye comfort. This solution contains surfactant poloxamer that attaches to the lens surface by electrostatic power, thus cleaning it from deposits. Viscoelastic wetting agent hydroxycellulose molecule is capable of  attracting water up to 1000x it’s own mass, as a result contact lens retains moisture even being taken out of the contact lens solution.

Diviniti Ocean Moist components work in synergy.

  • Thanks to the strong disinfection is safe to use
  • Chemical components are well balanced for synergetic work making the solution suitable for sensitive eyes
  • Effectively purifies the lenses and separates deposits from the lens surface
  • The special wetting agent ensures fantastic comfort

Contact lens solution cleans and disinfects the contact lenses

Disinfectants Kill microorganisms growing on the lens surface. Prevents microorganism reproduction in the contact lens solution container. Diviniti OceanMoist contains two mutually balanced disinfectants that ensures powerful disinfection and safe storage in the container for up to 7 days. This contact lens solution has a multifunctional disinfectant status that combines the best qualities of both disinfectants – PQ-1 and PHMB. PQ-1 (polyquaternium) is a detergent type preservative that is less toxic to corneal surface. It can’t be absorbed in the contact lens material due to its large molecule retaining it’s effectiveness by preventing the growth of various microorganisms, in particular the fungus. PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide) is an antiseptic with excellent antiviral and antibacterial properties. It is the most commonly used disinfectant in the world, and has gained its popularity by its capability of entering the contact lens material and destroying the microorganisms that have hidden there.
Surfactants Separate deposits that have attached to the contact lens surface.  Soaking and cleaning off the contact lens solution disinfectants are able to access the lens surface and begin disinfecting process, ensuring safer contact lens usage. Surfactants renew the surface ensuring more pleasant and fresh contact lens usage.
Buffer system and anti-calcification agents Ensures balances chemical composition. Buffer system maintains certain acid-base level and guarantees invariable pH level in the solution and on the eye surface. Diviniti solution buffer system regulates the aggressiveness of the disinfectants against the eye tissue, ensuring powerful yet gentle lens disinfection.  Diviniti Ocean Moist contains a gentle citrate buffer system. Citrates are part of citric acid buffer group, that don’t cause corneal calcification and are less toxic to eye surface cells. It allows prolonged storage of lenses for their repeat usage. It’s stable chemical content restores moisture level and refreshes contact lenses.
Wetting agents Extends the time for comfortable contact lens wear by reducing the friction and improving wettability. Diviniti OceanMoist contains several excellent wetting agents: HEC, poloxamer 407 un EDTA. ETDA or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is an anti-calcification agent that can be found in any contact lens solution bottle. It helps to disinfect the lens, stabilizes the chemical composition of the solution, helps to separate deposits and dirt and starts the wetting cascade.  Poloxamer 407  is a hydrophilic non-ionic surfactant that provides both cleaning and wetting. This molecule has a reversible thermal reaction: the substance is liquid at room temperature and has a gel consistency at body temperature.  The poloxamer in the contact lens solution while in the case envelopes the contact lens and clarifies it, but when the lens is inserted into the eye, poloxamer transforms into a slippery molecule reducing the friction between the lens and the eyelid with every blink. In the contact lens solution poloxamer forms into special globules – creating micelles and with electrostatic power is attracted to corneal epithelium. In this process the friction is reduces between the contact lens and the sensitive cells of the cornea. Poloxamer is a widely used molecule in various eye drops and in many technologically advanced contact lens packaging. It creates a bridge between contact lens solution system and comfort technology. HEC hydroxyethyl cellulose is a special wetting agent added to Diviniti OceanMoist solution. Hydroxyethyl cellulose is a substance that is naturally occurring in human tissue. It can soak up and hold liquid and lubricate moving joints. This molecule provides elasticity to human tissue and can be found in any human body (in the eyes, joint synovial fluid and elsewhere). HEC is widely used in various eye drops. In Diviniti OceanMoist contact lens solution the HEC transports the wetness from the contact lens container to the eye surface. It is common occurrence where eyes can feel comfortable and moisturized right after the contact lens insertion, and then losing this pleasant sensation during the day. Diviniti OceanMoist special wetting agent attaches to the silicone hydrogel contact lens surface masking the dry spots and is found on the contact lens surface for prolonged wear. So the contact lens solution is capable of taking care of the eye comfort and the lenses during the whole day, eve many hours after first inserting the contact lens into the eye.
